Topic Ideation
Through our brainstorm we landed on an idea for a business that we are very excited about; making pet toys and products out of a fashion waste stream with the proceeds going to pet charities.
We decided that, as textile design knowledge and skills are potentially going to be a huge part of this business idea, it might be a good idea to see if another textile designer wanted to join our team. In a stroke of luck, Ashley (a textile designer!) asked Sam if she could join our team. After hearing about our idea Ashley's flatmate Wairata, a fashion designer, also wanted to join. This was another great add to the team as a fashion viewpoint will be very helpful.
We all met up to ideate further on our initial idea and begin to work out some of the nuts and bolts:
